First of all, this is a fanfic project by Z-sama and TorchwoodTimelord (TWTL).

Basically, it’s BBC!Sherlock meets Harry Potter.

The least you need to know:

Sherlock Holmes is a wizard. In fact, so is his brother Mycroft. Sherlock Holmes is not his real name, but one he made up to hide from the wizarding world. He has not used magic openly (or willingly) for many years and prefers to live among the muggles, finding them far more challenging and interesting than wizards.

John Watson is a muggle. In fact, so is DI Lestrade. John Watson didn’t know his best friend was a wizard until one day there came a letter by owl. And that letter screamed at Sherlock before politely stating that Sherlock’s parents couldn’t wait to meet John.

This story has pre-slash and slash Johnlock. It also has established Mystrade and established Drarry.

This tumblr was set up for various things to do with this project. Random graphs, charts, drabbles, vignettes, chapters of the actual stories (because the way it looks, there will be more than one story in this odd Sherlock Potterverse), information supplementals, and announcements pertaining to the fanfic.

         Couples have children. Those children grow up. And when they do, they start asking questions. For John and Sherlock, the most obvious questions were answered very early. They never suffered through the awkward questions of how two men could have babies. In wizard culture, it had been commonplace since the 1920’s, what with Harry and Draco’s potion experiments. And they made sure, whether Sherlock liked it or not, that their children were well educated in their magical heritage before ever setting foot on Platform 9 and 3/4.

Two days passed before anyone knew what had happened.

Aurors were in and out of the manor. Many attempted to trace the younger Potter-Malfoy son’s distinct and unique magical signature. But the family knew he would not be found. Not until he was ready.

Lily did her best to make John comfortable in her brother’s old rooms. Mycroft worked with his parents on trying to contain the damage. Those that had survived the unprovoked attack either worked at helping track down any of the dark wizards whom had escaped, or joined in the search for Sherlock. Others helped, as best they could, clear away the debris and patch up the manor.

The first scrap of news had been a statement from, of all places, the Ministry of Magic’s department of the Control of Magical Creatures. It had been made to the Daily Prophet shortly after the discovery of Mary Morstan’s head on a pike, proudly on display at the entrance of the Forest of Dean.
